SLO Creek Farms

SLO Creek Farms located at 6455 Monte Rd. near the intersection of San Luis Bay Drive and Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo is a certified organic farm, open seasonally from May through November. They offer a u-pick when they're open for the season, which includes u-pick apples, flowers, and pumpkins. Additionally, they sell a variety of apple products such as apple sauce, hard cider, apple butter, and apply brandy, all of which are certified organic.

The pandemic did not stop them from being open this year, but social distancing and masks were required. SLO Creek Farms reported that their sales went up as a result of the pandemic, mainly attributed to people wanting to be out in nature. SLO Creek Farms is the perfect outdoor escape as they open up their grassy field where kids can play, and others can go relax and drink cider. They also have a farm stand and apple orchard, which offers relaxing activities for the whole family.

You can follow SLO Creek Farms on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter @slocreekfarms, email them at slocreekfarms@live.com, or check out their website, slocreekfarms.com.

They are open seasonally from May through November, so be sure not to miss SLO Creek Farms when that time comes! Spring is just around the corner!

About Us:

Welcome! We are so glad you are here. This site was inspired by our desire to help local farmers and business owners on the Central Coast get through this difficult time. We began this project in April 2020 when we were freshmen at San Luis Obispo High School, enrolled in an agriculture biology class, which requires a project related to agriculture every trimester. We have continued this project throughout our time in high school.

We hope our time aids in shining a light on local farmers and business owners on the Central Coast while significantly decreasing the amount of wasted food.

Additioanlly, we'd like to thank our agriculture teachers Mrs. Bates and Mrs. Evans for their continued support.
